Girl commits suicide

Mangalore, June 28, 2014: A girl committed suicide at Kadtala village coming under Ajekar police station limits in Udupi district, because her mother scolded her.

The police said Harinakshi (18), a student of II PUC, quarrelled with her mother on Thursday. Though she slept at home, she was missing in the morning. She was found hanging on a tree near the well of the house around 6 a.m. A case of unnatural death has been registered.
