Puttur, February 7: The National Investigation agency, apart of National Security Guard, headed to Puttur, to investigate the bomb explosions carried out in Goa in October last year.
According to NIA team, a resident of Kallugudde is being seen as one of the key persons involved in the attacks.
In October 2009, militants from Goa had carried out bombings during Diwali celebrations. It is reported that the investigative agencies have received information regarding the 2 bombs, which had defused on the spot, are in the possession of a certain Jayaprakash Belchada, resident of Kallugudde.
The NIA team, which came to purttur to collect the information regarding Jayaprakash, said that he has possessed 8 mobile sim numbers and 2 landline numbers. They have conducted investigation with the help of two local policemen. When they contacted his house, they revealed that Jayaprakash was not quite in touch with the family off late and would cut the phone calls made to him by them. Jayaprakash Belchada is said to be a member of the Sanatana Samsthe.
