Govt quarters in Udupi again targeted by theives

Mangaluru, April 8, 2015: Thieves seem to have their minds set to loot  quarters of government officials, as they may feel they can gain biger loot there. After three houses of government officials were robbed on April 5, two quarters of government officials in Ajjarkadu were targeted by the robbers on Apr 6.

While Excise Inspector Dharmappa KT was away from home to attend a wedding, the thieves decamped with valuables worth Rs 24,000 from his quarters.Meanwhile valuables worth Rs 15,000 were stolen from the residence of PWD staff Natraj  in the same vicinity.  Udupi Town Police have registered the case and investigations are on.
