Gowda to hold rally in city on Feb 23

Mangalore Feb 19: JD (S) Chief H D Deve Gowda, who has currently undertaken a protest tour of Karnataka to protest against the decision of the BJP government to acquire land for development as per its land bank concept, will organize a protest rally in Mangalore on Feb 23. 

On Thursday, Deve Gowda constituted a committee of 3 for each district for the successful organization of these protest rallies. 

The committee in Mangalore comprises M C Nanaiah, the JD (S) leader in the legislative council; Rathan Singh, the vice-president; and Milind Dharmasen, the general secretary of Karnataka unit.
