H. M. Pernal elected as Konkani Writers’ Forum

Mangalore, Sept. 24, 2012: H. M. Pernal, editor of Kittall.com, has been elected as the president of Konkani Writers Forum in Karnataka at the annual general body meeting held at Sandesha on Sunday.

The other office bearers are Irene Rebello (vice president), Aloysius Ton Ferose (joint secretary), Marcel M. D. Souza (general secretary), and Joachim Pinto (treasurer). The executive committee members are Edwin J. F. D’Souza, Prof. Vincent Alva, Prof. Stephen Quadros, John A. Monis, and Violet Pereira.

H. M. Pernal has published 3 anthologies of poems, an anthology of short stories, and four books. He now edits kittall.com, a Konkani literary website.
