Health Week by Srinivas hospital at Mukka from June 30

Mangalore, June 29, 2014: As a part of Doctors’ day, under National health mission, Srinivas Hospital will organise Srinivas health week, at the hospital in Mukka, from June 30 to July 5 between 9.30 am and 4.30 pm, said Srinivas Group of Institutions Chief Health Officer Dr M Annaia Kulal Ulthur.

Addressing a press conference here, he said that Mayor Mahabala Marla would inaugurate the week, on July 1, at 10.30 am. A Shama Rao Foundation President A Raghavendra Rao will preside over the inaugural function, while Foundation Vice President A Srinivas Rao, Mangalore City Corporation Commissioner Ajith Kumar Hegde S, District Health and Family Welfare Officer Dr H S Shivakumar and District Women and Children Welfare Department Deputy Director Gatrude Veigas will be the guests of honour. Three senior doctors will be felicitated as a part of Doctors’ day celebrations, he said.

During the camp, the hospital will provide free treatment for various health ailments of school children, senior citizens, anganwadi, asha workers, self-help workers, auto rickshaw and bus drivers, sports personnel, labourers, government employees and members of various organisations.
