Health centres, spas in Mangaluru, HC lifts ban

Mangaluru, Feb 10, 2017:  It is reported that the High Court of Karnataka has directed the Mangaluru police commissioner and the Mangaluru City Corporation to lift the ban on health centres and spas.

The ban was imposed after an FIR was filed against two health centres and panchakarma ayurvedic centres for carrying out “illegal” activities. Owners of the health centres moved the high court against the ban. Allowing their petition on Thursday, Justice A S Bopanna ordered reopening all health centres except those mentioned in the FIR.
