Homestay attack accused student appears for II PU exam

Mangalore, March 14, 2013  : Shreyas, a second PUC student of Milagres College, who is an accused in the Morning Mist Homestay attack case and is behind bars, appeared for the II PU annual examinations which began on March 13. He  was brought to the college with police escort.  

 Shreyas had prepared for  the examination while being behind bars and was permitted to write the exams by the First Additional District and Sessions Court, which took up his plea in this regard for hearing  a few days ago. Shreyas is a commerce student and is the 41st accused in the case.

His mother and sister were seen waiting for him outside the examination centre.However, both Shreyas and  his family refused to speak to the media. Shreyas was also found visibly upset and even threw some object towards the camera of a press man near the jail premises.
