Honest automan restores valuables worth Rs 3.5 lakh

 Mangaluru, April 11, 2016: Another Mangaluru auto driver, proved his honesty in returning a bag containing items worth Rs 3.5 lakh to its rightful owner at Mangaluru Central Railway Station on April 10,Sunday.

One Shetty and his family arrived in the city from Mumbai in the morning and took a prepaid auto at the Central Railway station and proceeded to their residence at Babugudde. Later the family discovered that one of their bags was missing and were sure it was left in the auto. They came to the prepaid auto booth at the railway station and made inquiries but drew blank.

Shetty and his family requested Tulunada Rakshna Vedike for help, but their efforts too were futile.

The family  then recalled that there was an idol of Sai Baba idol in the auto. One of the auto men contacted  one Dhananjay and it turned out to be the right auto.  Dhananjay checked his auto and  rushed to the railway station and handed over the bag to its Shetty the owner with all items intact. The family gave a rewarded  to Dhananjay and also Tulunada Rakshana Vedike.
