Hubert releases 2nd devotional songs album

Mangalore, May 19:  Hubert D’Souza will release his second album of devotional songs “God is Love” by the first week of June. His first volume of hymns “Lord is Risen,” released on April 4, 2010, was a great hit and sold over 1000 copies within one month in Muscat. 

Robert D’Souza has given the music direction for the new album. The singers hail from Muscat, Dubai, Qatar, Mumbai, and Mangalore. The album contains a mixture of old and new hymns, including popular numbers such as “May the Good Lord Bless and Keep You,” “Precious Lord,” “My God Loves Me,” “Morning has Broken,” “There Shall be Showers of Blessings,” and many more. 

The producer said that the above-mentioned are rare hymns, owing to which he has made an effort to make them easily available via this new CD. 

Two new Konkani albums “Jezu Tum Makha Zai” and “Moriek Hogolsia” are in the process of being recorded and will be available to the Konkani-speaking Catholic community on Sept 8, 2010.
