I have always been a BJP supporter, clarifies Mahesh Shetty Timarody

Mangalore, April 15, 2014 : Mahesh Shetty Timarody, President of the Prajaprabhutva Vedike  has said that he has always been a BJP supporter and has never voted for any other party other than  the BJP.

Speaking to media men in the city on April 15, Tuesday, he has clarified that he was supporting the BJP  candidate Nalin Kumar Kateel in order to  help Narendra Modi become the next prime minister. Timarody also said that Modi should be the prime minister of India  and added his organisation was  participating in the election campaigning through NaMo Brigade.

He rubbished reports that Sowjanya’s parents were supporting some other party. Making it clear that the Sangh Parivar and various organisations had pledged support for the pro-Sowjanya agitation, Shetty said  the agitation will not cease but will continue until justice is delivered.

Pramod Kumar Shetty, Sukeerthi Jain, Santosh Kumar Bantwal, Prajaprabhutva Vedike  members and others were present.
