Mangalore, Nov 28: The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) organized the Investor Awareness Programme to spread awareness on options market and tradition strategies in the auditorium of Karnataka Bank, Kodialbail, on Nov 28, Saturday.
Prof Radhakrishna Sharma, the chief guest of the occasion, spoke on options market and tradition strategies. He said that an investor who decides to invest on shares or business must be aware of the intricacies of the market. A large number of people suffer financial losses because of lack of awareness. He spoke about the market law, which influences people who purchase and sell shares, businesses, or commodities. He said that everybody in the share market has the right to purchase and sell shares; but when it is done online, there is no physical delivery.
CS Ullas Kumar Melinamogaru, the chairman of the Mangalore Chapter of the ICSI, made the welcome speech. CS YV Balachandra, the vice chairman of the Mangalore Chapter of the ICSI, introduced the chief guest. CS P V Rai, the secretary of the Mangalore Chapter of the ICSI, proposed the vote of thanks.
