Mangalore, Nov 10: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) warned on Tuesday that an intense cyclone is rising in the Arabian Sea and moving rapidly toward North Maharashtra and South Gujarat. The impact could be felt in the form of strong winds and rains in Goa, Kerala, and Karnataka during the next 48 hours.
Since heavy rainfall is expected in Karnataka and the sea is bound to be rough, fishermen have been warned not to venture into the sea for fishing activities.
