India Post to mark Pejawar seer’s fifth Paryaya with Special cancellation cover

Udupi, Jan 02, 2015:  A media release said that India Posts will bring out a special cancellation cover to mark the fifth Paryaya of Vishwesha Tirtha Swami of Pejawar Mutt.

Release on Jan 4 : The cancellation will be released by S. Rajendra Kumar, Postmaster of South Karnataka Zone at 7.30 p.m. on January 4 at the Poornaprajna Mantapa on Car Street here to mark the civic reception to be accorded to the Pejawar seer after his “pura pravesha” or customary entry to Udupi.

Vishwesha Tirtha Swami will ascend the Paryaya Peetha, also known as Sarvajna Peetha, at the 800-year-old Sri Krishna Mutt/Temple here on January 18, 2016.
