Is DK under Facebook grip of International Drug Mafia

July 06, 2017: As per news reports, an unidentified international drug mafia is reportedly targeting the residents in DK- Dakshina Kannada through online social media including facebook. Hundreds of messages are being sent from some facebook account to the accounts innocent online users to attract them to work as middle men, transporters, agents and others to transport drugs.

Unidentified persons have been reportedly attracting the public assuring huge amount to work as middle men. According to a message received, the sender of a message said, the person who handovers a small box sent from Bangladesh to another person at another location in India would get huge amount in terms of dollars as his payment for the work completed.

Many people in Dakshina Kannada have received messages offering huge pay in return to a small work. However, most of the online users who received such messages have neglected knowing that the messages might have sent by the members of an international drug mafia. The police department it is said is due to start  investigations.
