Job applicant pastes Aishwarya’s photo against his name

Karwar, July 16, 2012 : One of the applications for a competitive exam, conducted by the Centralized Admission Cell, held to recruit high school teachers had the photograph of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

This was, however, noticed only at the Karwar center of the competitive exam. The photograph of Aishwarya Rai was printed against the name of Narayana Gonda, one of those aspiring for a high school teacher’s job. Gonda saved himself a lot of trouble by not turning up for the exam.

The invigilators immediately alerted their superiors, and Revanasiddappa, deputy director of public instruction, visited the exam centre to verify the matter.

He said that they had received applications online, and the Centralized Admission Cell conducts the exams and supplies the papers. He said that all the higher ups have been informed about it.
