Mangalore April 23: The Western Institute of Technology inaugurated Western 361 Degrees, a mega 2-day job fair, at TMA Pai Convention Hall in Mangalore on April 23, Friday.
President of Western Institute of Technology Walter Stephan Mendes said that it is not possible to promise jobs to people, but one can definitely help them find a job. He said that thirty companies have arrived to recruit eligible candidates and three more companies from Bangalore, including Infosys and Wipro will arrive on the next day. He referred to the job fair as a way to forward excellent CVs to top companies.
Bishop of Mangalore Diocese Rev Aloysius Paul D’Souza inaugurated the job fair and MLA Abhayachandra Jain was the chief guest. A large number of job seekers from Kerala and Karnataka participated in the fair.
MLA U T Khader; Tim Roberts; Alexander Castelino, the former vice president of Corporate Services ITPL, Bangalore; and CASS Nayak were the dignitaries on the dais.
