K Pratapsinha Nayak elected unopposed as District BJP President

Mangalore, August 24, 2013: K Pratapsinha Nayak of Belthangady has been elected unopposed as the new President of the Dakshina Kannada district unit of the BJP for the year 2013-15.

A press communiqué from the BJP said the election process was held at the party’s district office here under the presidentship of K Padmanabha Kottari, the outgoing District President. K Monappa Bhandari, MLC was the election officer.

Kota Srinivas Poojari, MLC, Rukmaya Poojari, Yogish Bhat, Mallika Prasad, former MLAs, B Devadas Shetty, Sanjeeva Matandoor, and other BJP leaders were present.

The new District President will take charge at a function to be held at CV Nayak Hall on August 31 at 11 am.

Mr.Pratasimha Nayak is the one and only clean politician in BJP DK Unit.H is sincere,simple,non corrupt man.Inspite of having close to power centre during BJPs rule in Karnataka he never ever misused his poisition for any undue advantage.I wish him all the best.
