KMC organizes 5-day fest Mania 2010

Udupi, Apr 22: Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, will organize a 5-day inter-medical college festival called “Mania 2010,” in which around 20 teams are expected to participate, said President of the Students’ Council of KMC Pranav Kidambi. 

Mania 2010 will include a wide range of literary, cultural, and sports events. Basketball and badminton players will be the first to use the university’s new sports complex “Marena.” The sports events will include cricket, tennis, football, basketball, badminton, and volleyball. 

Tennis will be played on the KMC’s clay courts, volleyball on Sharada Courts, football at End Point, and Cricket on the turf wicket at End Point as well as on the matting wicket at the MIT ground. 

The cultural and literary events will include English and Hindi debates, solos, quizzes, group singing, Bollywood potpourri, group and duet dance, collage, mock press, and many more.
