Mangaluru, Dec 21, 2019: Addressing media in Mangaluru, , Karavali Kalotsava President Sudarshan Jain said that around 3,000 artistes will take part in the 12-day long programme. Celebrities from the film industry will take part in various programmes.

 Chinnara Loka Mokeda Kalavider Seva Trust, Bantwal, will organise ‘Karavali Kalotsava 2019’ at Kadri Gopalanath Vedike, Ganadapadpu, B C Road, Bantwal, from December 21 to January 1.

Kannada and Culture Minister C T Ravi will inaugurate ‘Kalotsava’ and ‘Chinnarotsava’ on December 21 at 6.30 pm. District In-charge minister Kota Srinivas Poojary will inaugurate Kadri Gopalnath Kalavedike. Yakshagana artiste Sarapadi Ashok Shetty will be awarded the Karavali Sourabha Prashasti on the occasion.

Prior to the formal function, a cultural procession will be taken out from Annapoorneshwari Kalamantapa at B C Road, till the programme venue.

Various dance and music events will be held during ‘Karavali Kalotsava’, hesaid.Karavali Kalotsava convener Mohanadasa Kottari, office-bearers Kantadiguttu Seetarama Shetty and Ramesh Rai Kukkuvalli were present at the press meet.
