Karkala BJP minorities morcha leader dies in road mishap in Hassan

 Karkala, Nov 5, 2012 : A BJP minorities Morcha leader hailing from Karkala died in a road accident near Channarayapatna in Hassan on December 4,Tuesday. The deceased is Maurice Mendonca of Jogulabettu  of Karkala.

Maurice died on the spot when the car in which he was travelling hit against a bus which was stationed without any indicator lights. Maurice, a contractor by profession was supposed to get married on December 31. But as fate would have it, he died while he was on way to his fiancee’s house along with his friend Maru to hand over the wedding invitation card.

 The car was badly mangled in the mishap. However, co passenger Maru escaped with minor injuries.
