Karkala youth dies in crane accident in South Africa

Karkala, March 14, 2013 :  A youth hailing from Manjarapalke in Belman of Karkala met a tragic end in a crane mishap in South Africa. The accident took place on March 6.

The deceased identified as Manjunath alias Manju worked as a surveyor in a company in South  Africa. He was married just ten months ago to a Shimoga girl and had returned to South Africa soon after.

The eldest son of Manjarapalke Kedinjeya Eshwara and Devi couple, Manjunath is an alumnus of Nitte education institution.

Sources said a relative of Manjunath who stayed in South Africa is assisting in bringing back the mortal remains to India on March 14, Thursday.
