Kasargod : Cell phone talk on railway track proves fatal

 Kasargod, April 9, 2016 : A youth from Bihar who was  walking on the railway tracks even as he was speaking over his mobile phone, was fatally run over by a train  at Kumble on April 7, Thursday.

The deceased is Mohan Shah (29). He was working as a labourer in road asphaltation project at Kumble.  It is learnt, he lay on the track bleeding profusely for quite a long time before help came in.

It is said his colleagues who did not find him at the work site came in search of him only to find him lying in a pool of blood on the track.

Though Shah was immediately rushed to the hospital, he breathed his last on April 8, Friday.

A case has been registered by Kumble Police.
