Kasargod : Three men arrested for kidnapping sailor

 Kasargod, Aug 24, 2013 :  Police have arrested three persons on the charges of  kidnapping a sailor just for the reason that he spoke to two women   near the KSRTC bus stand in the town on August 22, Thursday.

The arrested are Jamsheer (25), Shakeer (22) and Shamsuddin (32).  The Swift car used by the accused has also been seized. Police could act swiftly after the two women who noticed the car speeding away with the sailor  complained at the nearest police station.

The car was   detected in an isolated area at Adkattabail and seized. The trio have admitted during interrogations that they  kidnapped the man for talking to the women.

A case of kidnap has been registered against the three persons.
