Kavoor police arrests four in moral policing case at Pilikula

Mangalore, Dec 27, 2013: Dakshina Kannada has once again witnessed the instances of moral policing in Pilikula Nisargadhama on Dec 26, Thursday.

The Kavoor police have arrested four persons identified as Kiran, Ravi, Kumara and Bipin aged around 25 years and residents of Vamanjoor for attacking inter-faith students of PU College of the city for being together in park.

The four allegedly belonging to Saffron outfit came in their bike and omni and assaulted them the duo.

The case has been registered at Kavoor Police station. The accused are charged with (IPC 341) for wrongful restraint, (IPC 323) for assault, (IPC 504, 506) for insult and (IPC 295a, 153a) for promoting enmity between religions.
