Konkani Railway introduces four more Ganapathi Special Trains

Mangalore, Sept. 20, 2012: The Konkan Railway has introduced four extra special trains between Lokmanya Tilak and Sawantwadi. It may be recalled that the Konkan Railway had already launched 134 Ganapathi Special Trains along the Konkan Railway Route in collaboration with the Central Railway. The total number of special trains introduced is now 138.

Train number 01007 will leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminal at 4:55 p.m. and will reach Sawantwadi at 6:30 a.m. the following day. This train will be run on September 22 and September 29.

Train number 01008 will leave Sawantwadi at 7:10 a.m. and will reach Lokmanya Tilak Terminal at 8:45 p.m. It will run on September 23 and September 30.

The above-mentioned trains will stop at Thane, Panvel, Roha, Mangaon, Khed, Chiplun, Ratnagiri, Sangameshwar, Adavali, Vilavade, Vaibhavwadi, Kankavali, Kudal, and Sindhudurg. Each train will have 22 coaches.
