Kumar murder case - CCB team arrests 3 men

Mangalore, June 21, 2012 : A City Crime Branch (CCB) Police team arrested three people on the night of June 19, Tuesday in connection with the murder of Kumar near Akash Bhavan on June 15, Friday.

The arrested are Gautam of Akash Bhavan, Gaurish of Bajal, and Harsharaj of Kulshekar.

Kumar (18), a member of Pradeep’s gang, was murdered on June 15 allegedly by members of Santhosh’s gang.

Reportedly, the members of Santhosh’s gang stopped Kumar and his friends and demanded to know where their leader Pradeep was. The two groups got into a verbal fight, which soon turned physical. The members of Santhosh’s gang lost their temper and stabbed Kumar to death.

The CCB team arrested the three in a bar in BC Road.
