Mangaluru, June 11, 2016: As per a media release, as a part of the Level-cross Awareness Week, from June 6 to 10, officials of Konkan Railway educated students of Government Higher Primary School and Govt PU College at Palimar, about the precautions that need to be taken at these spots.

Pamphlets were distributed to students, lecturers, gram panchayat personnel and also to road users. The officials who visited the educational institutions included Assistant Traffic Manager, Konkan Railway, Mangaluru, Assistant Operating Manager, (Safety)/ Karwar, Assistant Operating Manager (Goods) Belapur, Mumbai and Area Supervisor, Udupi. They also inspected Level Crossing Gate 85A at Nandikur in Udupi district.
