Locals oppose burial of Covid-19 victim in Bolar

Mangaluru, June 28, 2020: Some residents of Bolar expressed opposition to the  burial of the 31 year old youth from Idya near Suratkal who succumbed to Covid-19 on Saturday night.

Arrangements had been made for the last rites at the cemetery of the Bolar mosque as per the request of the authorities of the mosque from Idya near Suratkal for the reason that  rain water was flowing into the burial pit there.

However when locals in Bolar opposed, the  plans to perform the burial at Bolar mosque was dropped.
