Mangalore, Sep 28, 2012: Prof. T. C. Shivashankar Murthy, vice chancellor of Mangalore University, inaugurated the Campus Career Academy (CCA), the first coaching centre for competitive exams in Karnataka, and the diploma education in Arabic language (DEAL) on Friday.
Ganesh Rao S., founder chairman of Karavali Group, inaugurated the computer lab and library, while Dr. Mohammed Ifthikaruddin, director of MESCOM in Hyderabad, inaugurated DEAL.
In his address, Mr. Murthy appreciated Umar U. H., chairman of CCA, for establishing a coaching centre in Mangalore. Speaking about the lack of takers for higher education in India, he said that education must be taken to the remotest corners of the country. Students must also be guided on the best career options for them, he added.
Prof. M. Abdul Rahman, former vice chancellor of Calicut and Kannur Universities, was present.
