Madikeri hotel worker ends life in Puttur lodge

Puttur, March 8, 2016: Reports received indicate, a man from Madikeri committed suicide in a local lodge at the week end.

The deceased has been identified as Purushotham (38). Sources say that he had been staying in the lodge since March 2; however, on Saturday night he ended his life by hanging from the ceiling fan.

It is learnt that Purushotham had got married about seven years back and his wife committed suicide along with a child two years later. This caused mental disturbances,  he later worked at a hotel in Mangaluru.  A case has been filed.
