Man arrested for brother’s murder

Bantwal, Dec 29, 2019: Police have arrested Cyril Lobo alias Kille from Bolangady near Melkar on the charges of murdering his younger brother Muyya alias Leo Lobo on December 26.

It was alleged that the brothers used to frequently quarrel over financial issues in a drunken stupor. One such quarrel on December 26 culminated in the murder. Cyril had hit his younger brother with a cudgel leaving him dead on the spot.

The accused who was absconding since then was arrested on Saturday.
