Puttur, Sep 10, 2014: A man who gained entry into a house and attempted to sexually assault a minor at Nellikatte. The accused is Ashraf of Savanoor. As soon as the news began to spread, the public caught hold of him and thrashed him before handing him to the police. However, he fled from the police station. Enraged over the incident, a large number of youth gathered in front of the police station and urged the police to arrest him.
