Mangalore: Boys Hostel to come up at Pastoral Institute, Bajjodi

Mangalore, Dec 23, 2012:  Foundation for the new boys’ hostel building at Pastoral Institute, Bajjodi, was laid on December 23, Sunday. Mangalore Bishop Rev. Fr Aloysius Paul D’Souza, blessed the foundation stone. Msgr Lesly Shenoy  who has contributed Rs 65 lakh for the project, laid the foundation stone.

Construction of a hostel for poor boys has been one of the post-centenary silver jubilee projects of the Mangalore Diocese.

Fr Vincent Monteiro, Director of Pastoral Institute, Fr Patrick Rodrigues, Director Fr Muller Charitable Institution and several others were present on the occasion.
