Mangalore: Illness drives watchman to suicide

Mangalore, Oct 24, 2013: A man from Tamil Nadu    who was depressed in life due to ill-health has reportedly committed suicide by hanging himself  near Padua School Grounds on October 24, Thursday.

The deceased is Govinda (50). He was reportedly suffering from Tuberculosis. His body was found hanging from a tree inside a compound on Thursday afternoon. He was a watchman of the residence of a couple who are  employed in the Gulf.

The body has been taken to Wenlock Hospital for a post mortem. Kadri police are investigating.
