Mangalore : Medico found dead in apartment at Shivbagh

Mangalore, Dec 14, 2012 : An MBBS student of Yenepoya Medical College, who was residing in a flat at Shivabagh in Mangalore was found dead in his apartment on December 13, Thursday.

The deceased Mohammad Hamdan Rasheed(29) hailed from Lucknow and was staying alone in his apartment. Reports said he was an asthmatic and was under treatment since four years. It is learnt, though Mohammad used to be frequently in touch with his family, he had not contacted them for four days of late.

The watchman of the apartment where Mohammad stayed, on realizing that a foul smell was emanating from the premises, had informed the owner and finally the doors of the flat was forced open to find Rasheed’s body in a decomposed state. He might have died at least four days ago and the suspicion is that he died after a serious asthma attack .

The body is kept at the morgue at Wenlock. Kadri police are conducting the investigations.
