Mangalore University Academic Council approves 8 new colleges

Mangalore, Feb 27, 2014: The Academic Council of the Mangalore University at its meeting held on February 26, Wednesday has approved the setting up of eight new colleges in Dakshina Kannada, Udupi and Kodagu districts. If four colleges will come up in DK district, two each will be in Kodagu and Udupi districts. The colleges will  commence operations,  provided all the pre-conditions  are  met with before June.

The approved colleges are: Canara Evening College, Kodialbail, Mangalore,(B.Com)  Yenepoya College, Mangalore (B.Com and BSc  interior design) , St. Sebastian College of Commerce, Ullal (B.Com.); Mar Ivanios College, Puttur (B.A., B.Com.); ECR Institute of Management Studies, Kota (B.Com., B.B.M., B.C.A.); Shirdi Sai Degree College, Karkala (B.Com. and B.Sc. in interior design and decoration); First Grade College, Murnadu, Madikeri (B.Com.) and  Green Mountain College, Madikeri (B.Com.).
