Mango and jackfruit festival at Kadri park, May 19

Mangaluru, May 10, 2017: A statement notifies that a  week-long jackfruit and mango mela will be held at the Kadri Park here from May 19.  The Department of Horticulture and the Karnataka State Mango Development Corporation has organised it, there would be display and sale of different varieties of mango and jackfruit. Naturally ripened mangoes would be sold at the mela, an official release said.

Mango and jackfruit growers could directly sell the fruits at the mela. Entrepreneurs could sell value added products and processed products of the fruits at the mela.
