Manipal student drowns in Malpe beach

Manipal, Aug 26, 2013 : A  first year BBM student of Manipal University has reportedly met a watery  grave in the sea at Malpe.  Initial reports said a few students   had gone to the beach to make merry when the mishap occurred.

The  deceased has been identified as Abhishek Gangotri(19). The body has been placed at the mortuary of Kasturba Hospital.
