Missing girl traced to Mumbai

Udupi, Dec 06, 2014: The police on Friday traced 13-year-old Eshika Shetty, who went missing from the Sharada Residential School here on November 15, to Mumbai.

Assistant Superintendent of Police K. Annamalai told The Hindu on Friday that a team from Udupi had stayed for the past 20 days in Mumbai to trace her. The girl has been found at an observation home near the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus in Mumbai.

She was found wandering near that area and the Railway Police Force had admitted her to the observation home.

Eshika, a student of Class 8, had been missing since around 8.30 p.m. on November 15.
