Missing woman discovered dead with lover

Udupi, Sep 13, 2012 : A married woman who had gone missing on September 11, Tuesday was found dead on September 13, Thursday. A man who was accompanying her was also found dead.

The deceased is Sangeetha (24), who got married to Sathish (31) five years back. The couple lived in Kuthpady near Kanangi Temple.

Sangeetha used to work for Shanthalas Electronic Shop in Mangalore for the past one year and developed a relationship with Gaurish of Bannanje.

Sathish’s parents say that they saw Sangeetha talking to Gaurish near their house at around 9:30 a.m. on September 11. When the parents came home late that night, Sangeetha had gone missing.

Sathish had lodged a missing person complaint at Udupi police station.

Since both Sangeetha and Gaurish were found dead near Hoige Thota Pond on September 13, Thursday, police feel that the duo committed suicide.
