Moodushedde Nonalu family to organize Dharma Nemothsava

Mangalore February 18: The Nonalu family, which hails from Shedde Guttu, will organize the Dharma Nemothsava of daivas Jarandaya, Dhoomavathi, Kantheri Dhoomavathi, Mysandaya, and Banta from March 5. The head of the Nonalu family, Mr. Venugopal Arasa, addressed press people at a press conference held on Tuesday. 

Mr. Arasa said that the Nemothsava will be organized in Shedde Guttu house, Moodushedde. On March 6, Nemothsava will be organized for Kallurti, Kalkuda, and Panjurli, along with Bali programmes. A 3-day programme including Ugrana Muhurtha, Ganayata, Naga Thambila, Ashlesha Bali will precede the bootha kolas. 

On March 5, a procession will commence from Bhandara Mane to Botti Keremane, followed by a pooja to Dharmadevi Jarandaya. The Nonalu family will present a golden tongue to Jarandaya. Pallapooja and Kalashabhisheka will be offered to Arasu Guddagaru and Dharmadaivas. The celebrations will include Tala Maddale, Anna Santharpana, and Dharma Sabha. 

Mr. Arasa said that the archak of the Vishnumurthy Temple, Mr. Ramachandra Udupa, will perform the vaidikas and dharma rituals.
