Mangalore, Nov 13, 2012 : The muhurat for Rickshaw Driver, a new Tulu movie, was held at Mahatobhara Shree Mangaladevi Temple on Nov 12, Monday.
Dignitaries such as K. Lakshmi Narayana Asranna, the chief priest of Kateel Temple; JD(S) leader B. Nagaraj Shetty; Sadanand Shetty, founder and chairman of Shri Devi Educational Trust; Sulochani S. Devadiga, owner of Shri Muttu Films; and Praveen Kumar Konchady, producer of the movie, lit the lamp.
Sulochani S. Devadiga switched on the camera and Lakshmi Narayana Asranna gave the first muhurat clap.
Among the dignitaries on the dais were MLA U. T. Khader, Rathindrananath, K. Sanjeeva Poojary, Ramachandra Baikampady, T. Sanjeeva Moily, Ha Su Rajshekhar, and others.
Fr. Andrew D’Souza and Lakshmi Narayana Asranna blessed the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, producer Praveen Kumar Konchady promised that he will give his best to the public through this movie.
S. R. Shetty of the movie crew, art director Keshava Suvarna, and singer Rajesh M. were felicitated.
The shooting will be done in places in and around Bangalore, Mangalore, Madikeri, Kasargod, and others and will be completed in 30 days.
Several renowned artistes Bhojaraj Vamanjoor, Aravind Bolar, Stany Alvares, Naveen D. Padil, and others form part of this movie.
