Mulki : Driver killed in head-on collision between 2 lorries

Mulki, Feb 21, 2014 :  One person lost his life and another sustained serious injuries in a head-on collision between two lorries near the Mulki bus stand on the NH 66 on February 19, Wednesday night.

The mishap occurred between a  concrete mix lorry heading towards Manglaore from Udupi and a goods lorry  proceeding from the opposite direction. The concrete mix lorry driver Jithendra of north India origin has died in the mishap.

Another person who was  caught in the cabin of the lorry was removed with great  difficulty by the locals He has been hospitalised. The  accident disrupted traffic on the route for some time.
