Mulki woman killed in tragic car accident at Abu Dhabi

 Mulki, Jan 23, 2014: A macabre road accident at Abu Dhabi  on January 21, Tuesday claimed the life of a woman  hailing from Mulki near Mangalore.

The deceased woman is Babitha Rohith(30). She has left behind her husband and two little sons.

The mishap occurred when Babitha was on way  to her company to attend a meeting. She was holding a senior post in the Apple company. It is learnt, as the road repair work was underway, she had parked her vehicle on the roadside when another  speeding car crashed into Babitha’s car from the rear end  resulting in the petrol tank burst. Babitha reportedly died on the spot.

She was the daughter of Ramesh Karkera of Mulki Kolachikambala.  Family sources said her body would be brought hometown  on January 24, Friday for the last rites.

 Babitha who had come hometown just three months ago, had also  booked tickets to visit  Mulki yet again in March. But fate snatched her away before that.
