NMPT bags team championship at cultural festival

Mangaluru, Dec 22, 2019: NMPT team  won the first prize in drama, dance and won the team championship award for their performance at the cultural festival here.   As many as 10 teams from major ports had participated in the 21st All India Major Ports Cultural Fest 2019-20, inaugurated by NMPT Chairman A V Ramana, on the Port premises.

The teams displayed a variety of cultural art forms, much to the delight of audience. Intense competition was witnessed among the teams from various ports in events like classical music, instrumental music, dance and drama, among others.

Ramana and Sushma Akkaraju, who were chief guests at the valedictory programme, distributed the prizes to the winners and congratulated the families of the major ports for their exemplary performances.
