Mangalore, June 30, 2012 : A woman in Bantwal was found dead in a well near her husband’s house in Kelugudde Chatla in Kasargod.

Kriti Shetty (26) married Raviraj Shetty, who is employed in Dubai. She continued her education after marriage and was waiting for her CA results. Her husband had come home on leave 3 weeks back.

On the evening of Thursday, Kriti Shetty walked out of her house without a word and did not return. The family was busy watching TV at that time.

Later, the family began searching for her and found her footwear near the well. When they peeped into the well, they saw that she had died of drowning.

Fire fighting personnel and police officers arrived at the house and took out the body.
