Mangaluru, Dec 13, 2015: According to an announcement,  Mangaluru branch of  ICAI - The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India is holding a two-day national conclave for students pursuing chartered accountancy course from December 15 at T M A Pai Convention Centre here. The conclave is titled ’Jnana Sathra’ - Igniting Intellectual Intent. Around 1,500 CA students and 150 chartered accountants are participating in this national conclave, noted Shivakumar K, chairman of Mangaluru branch of ICAI.

V Murali, chairman, board of studies, ICAI will inaugurate the conclave. Ambareesh Baliga, well known investment analyst will be the chief guest. Murali, post the inaugural function will also address the students in an interaction and open house. The technical sessions will follow the open house. Research persons from Udupi, Mangaluru, Chennai, Goa, and Mumbai will be the resource persons or those chairing the respective sessions during the day, Shivakumar said.

Day 2 - Dec 16,  will start with a special session conducted by Vijay Kapur of New Delhi who will speak on how to become a better professional. This will be followed by technical sessions with chartered accountants from Mangaluru, Bengaluru, Ghaziabad, Chennai, faculty from Mangalore University and speaker from Udupi acting as either resource persons or session chairs. A quiz programme conducted by Naveen N as quiz master will be held prior to the valedictory function.
