Neonatology meet - October 11

MANGALORE, Oct 11, 2014: National Neonatology Forum Karnataka State Chapter will organise ‘Karneocon 2014,’ the 17th Karnataka state neonatology conference, at Dr TMA Pai International Convention Centre here on October 11 from 10.30 am.

Minister for Health and Family Welfare U T Khader will be the chief guest. Government of Karnataka National Health Mission Director Atul Tewari, Manipal University Pro Vice Chancellor Dr V Surendra Shetty and State Health and Family Welfare Director Dr Ramesh will be the guests of honour.

The conference will discuss and deliberate on various issues related to reduction of newborn deaths in the state which contributes to 70 pc of the infant deaths in the State. The conference is organised under the leadership of the Department of Pediatrics, Kasturba Medical College in association with other organisations interested.
