New Konkani CD “Sukni Gaytath” released

Kundapur, Apr 21:“Sukni Gaytat,” a new Konkani CD was released at Kundapur Junior college under the auspices of Shaina Beats. Fr. Alban D’Souza, the parish priest of Our Lady of the Rosary Church, said that Thelma Stany Martha Madyanthar has sponsored the CD, which contains the compositions of Marcus Almeida and Pascal D’Souza.

During the same occasion, Wilson Olivera was felicitated for his valuable contributions to Konkani in the presence of Diana Almeida, Basil D’Souza, and Clifford Gonsalves. A tribute was also paid to the late legendary singer Mr. Wilfy Rebimbus. Pascal D’Souza made the welcome speech and Alwyn Danti compered the programme. An entertainment programme was staged after the formal stage programme.

The CD can be purchased from Jerosa Compay, Gem and Co, and Almeida Enterprises in Mangalore; Souvenir and Family Sweets and Stores in Udupi; Mangala Store in Brahmavar; and City Choice in Kundapur.
